How To Train Your Dragon is the first in the series of children's books written by  Cressida Cowell about Hicccup and his pet dragon Toothless and was published in 2003. 

Hodder Children's Books in the UK released the audio version, narrated by David Tennant, on February 12, 2004. 

Hachette Children's Books in the US released the audiobook on April 22, 2010.
