THE TA AND THE TALIBAN

The TA and the Taliban is a six part documentary series following the "part time" British Soldiers of the Territorial Army who volunteer to join full time soldiers and serve alongside them in Afghanistan.

The series is produced and directed by Rob Gill and Stuart Pender and is narrated by David Tennant.

The filming took place over 11 months in the UK and in Afghanistan and follows the lives of 12 Territorial Army soldiers and their families as they prepare for deployment on HERRICK 13.  

The series aired at 9:00 pm on the UK cable channel Watch.

EPISODE ONE - AUGUST 4, 2011
