"Pest Control, the first Doctor Who audio-exclusive story to be published by BBC Audiobooks.
The title, read by David Tennant, will be available on CD and on download and will not be published as a book.
The story was commissioned from the author Peter Anghelides and is one of the first pieces of published fiction to feature the character Donna Noble (played by Catherine Tate in the television series) as the Doctor's companion.
The exciting narrative is accompanied by an atmospheric original soundtrack and thrilling sound effects created by Simon Hunt.
"Nevertheless, Tennant’s reading brings necessary energy to the narrative. As with previous Who readings, he narrates using his native Scottish accent, which makes it easy to tell where the authorial voice ends and where the Doctor’s speech begins. He adopts some suitably annoying voices for the characters we are meant to dislike." - Sci-Fi-Online.com - Richard McGinlay
"The Doctor and Donna face monstrous insects and a ruthless robot exterminator and The TARDIS is lost in battle on a distant planet.
