Acting on the radio is challenging, inspiring, delicate and always a privilege.

PAINT HER WELL

Paint Her Well was transmitted as part of BBC Radio 4's The Monday Play series on March 11, 1996 at 7:45 pm.  The play is 90 minutes long and the author is Iain McClure. The production was directed in the BBC Edinburgh studios byPatrick Rayner, who also directed The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and The Fifty Friends of Simon Goberschmidtt.

A fantastical drama set in a fictitious mountain kingdom, where two pictures hang side by side in the Royal Gallery.  One is a married portrait of the Queen and the other is of an unknown woman painted decades earlier. Mysteriously, magically, they are identical. The artist seeks an explanation.
