FIRE IN THE HEART
Fire in the Heart was transmitted as part of BBC Radio 4's Woman's Hour series in 15 parts starting from August 23, 1999 and running through September 10, 1999, Monday through Friday from 10-11 am and then re-run at 7:45 pm. The series was directed by Clive Brill.
The series took John Keat's poems and letters that were adapted and reconstructed by Robin Brooks to provide a fascinating insight into the heart and mind of a great poet.
David also appears in several other plays adapted/written by Brooks including Love and Friendship, The Order of Release and A Quick Change.
Readings were done by Damian Lewis, David Tennant, Julie Cox, John Webb and Nigel Cooke.
