THE AIRMEN WHO WOULD NOT DIE

The Airmen Who Would Not Die was transmitted as part of the Saturday Playhouse on BBC Radio 4, April 4, 1998 at 2:30 pm. The play is 90 minutes long and was adapted for radio for Michael Crompton, based on the book by John G. Fuller.

The production was directed by Catherine Bailey and John Dove, with music written and performed by Peter Haywood.  This was a Catherine Bailey Ltd. production.

The play tells the story of the events surrounding the true story of the crash of the airship R-101, the biggest airship ever built, in 1930 and the famous seance that was conducted by Eileen Garrett.
