COMIC RELIEF: A FOOL'S GUIDE

He mentioned in an interview that he thought his favourite band, The Proclaimers, would be there, but their part was pre-recorded!

In 2009 he co-hosted with Davina McCall, wearing a striking white suit and red shoes, he bested her in Mastermind and played air guitar with Franz Ferdinand!

In 2011 David flew to Uganda to make a film about child blindness and cataract surgery.  This was such a touching, heart felt segment that it raised a staggering amount of money

Comic Relief: The Fool's Guide was an hour long documentary produced by Lucy Kenwright, for BBC One, celebrating 21 years of comedy and giving.

David Tennant narrates this look back over the highlights of past Comic Relief shows, including stories and favourite moments pick by Billy Connolly, Victoria Beckham, Ruth Jones, Rob Brydon, Richard Curtis, Jonathan Ross, Graham Norton, Tony Blair, Fearne Cotton, Davina McCall, Paul Bradley, Lenny Henry, Catherine Tate and many more.

David has been involved in Comic Relief since 2007 when he and Catherine Tate performed a sketch involving her character Lauren Cooper, which has became an instant classic.

Also in 2007 Davidmakes an appearance, in his kilt, in the video for the Comic Relief single "Roll 500 Miles" with The Proclaimers, Peter Kay and Matt Lucas

He also filmed a short clip about the importance of mosquito netting and how you could help with just a tenner! 

David also took part in David Walliams' epic 24 Hour Panel People marathon, lending his talents to the Through the Keyhole and Blankety-Blank segments.
